A Successful Weekend for PLOT

It started on Friday with The SHOE IN at Garden*Hood, where we collected over 120 shoes. They will be used for planters as part of the set for PLOT, and sold to raise funds for artist fees.

Dancemaker Blake Beckham and Video Artist Neil Fried teamed up with Lighting and Tech Director Malina Rodriguez to share some of their collaborative work with a performance in the front room of the Garden*Hood house. Neil's video footage of PLOT at The Goat Farm played in the courtyard as guests enjoyed treats from Stone Soup Kitchen.

Amazing photos of the event generously provided by Bobbi Jo Brooks Photography.

Then, Blake and her dancers shared tender moments of PLOT with audiences at Magnetic Drift, A Contemporary Dance Concert presented by WonderRoot. Once again, Bobbi Jo took great photos!

You can catch another glimpse of PLOT on June 25th, when MINT Gallery and Dance Truck present Portland Artist Noelle Stiles. The PLOT Truck will be there, reuniting Blake and Noelle, who attended The Ohio State University together.
